Beaches of Chios

Chios has some very nice beaches. A the time we were in Chios, most of the beaches were almost empty.

Karfas	We stayed in the tourist village Karfas. There is a nice sand beach. -> Link
Megas Limnosas	This village is about 5km south of Karfas. We didn't bath here. But there are good restaurants in this place. -> Link
Aghia Irini Beach	Here you can feel like in the carebean sea. Clear blue water. As in Kato Phana is the road to this beach quite bad and it goes through military area. > Link
Kato Phana	-This is a nice beach with sand. There is a archological place nearby. The road to this beach is quite rough, specially when you go there by moto. -> Link
Vroulidia	This beach looks impressive. When we where there, it was quity dirty of some sea plants. -> Link
Vlichada Beach	This was our most northern beach. Nothing special. -> Link
Limnos	We stayed here for lunch on our bus trip to the north. Nothing special to say. There are 2 taverns here, one of them has nice wall-paintings. More Pictures:1, 2. -> Link
Mavra Volia	This was our favorite beach. Black pebbles from the nearby volcano and very clear water with some fishes. The was the only beach we visited more than once! -> Link
