23.-30.5.1998 Scuba Diving in El Qusir, Egypt
Diving Center at the Mövenpick Hotel, El Qusir
This was the first time scuba diving for me after doing my PADI brevet in 1997. And it was so far the most beautiful place for diving.
The hotel resort Mövenpick in El Qusir is about 2 hour south of Hourgada. It is beautiful situated and has top infrastructure. From the diving center it's easy to to diving in the house reefe. When I was there they had the rule, that not more then 30 divers are allowed to be in the reefe. So you had to sign in first.
It was only about half a year about the big attack in Luxor and the hotel was almost empty.
It is easy to go snorkling. There is a sand beach which goes straight into the reefe.
My rating: Top place for scuba diving, snorkling and relaxing.
